Shaun Mckenzie
Exercise Scientist & Physio Student
My passion for sport and training led me to pursue a career in sport science. After battling hip pain for two years during my undergrad, I became deeply interested in understanding the mechanics of the human body, pain science and overall physiotherapy.Â
My love for training remains strong, though my goals have evolved from my initial focus on strength and hypertrophy to an interest in endurance sports and long-distance running. Although I’m still as passionate about the training process as I was when I first started.
In my coaching, I prioritise building strong relationships with my clients, believing that genuine interest and connection are the foundations of effective training. I emphasise simple, well-executed movements and consistency, ensuring that every client feels cared for both inside and outside the gym.
