Joseph Huynh
Senior Physiotherapist
I'm an experienced physiotherapist with a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sporting conditions. My passion for evidence-based and active therapy has led me to develop results-based gym and field-based pre-habilitation, rehabilitation and injury prevention models and principles.
I endorse a holistic model of care by utilising physiotherapy techniques/modalities, in addition to active therapy and an emphasis on education, to best empower people to take control of their health and wellbeing.
My background as a former soccer player (with multiple injuries) led me to pursue a career in physiotherapy and ultimately work for Melbourne City FC in the A-leagues. I spread my work over the academy, A-league Women’s and A-league Men’s teams. I then moved to Singapore to work at the National Youth Sports Institute and worked with various sporting teams/organisations including soccer, athletics, badminton, netball and speed skating. This enabled me to travel to international competitions including the LaLiga for football, and the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games for speed skating.
I have moved back to Melbourne and i'm looking forward to assisting people to not only recover from injuries but to kick their goals and fulfil their potential in whatever they want to do!
